I’VE BEEN THERE TOO.
The cycle of trying to change and failing over and over again was wearing me down.
I was doing things that weren’t good for me, but I just couldn’t stop doing them.
Entrepreneurial life working out of my Greenwich Village apartment turned into isolation – I found myself struggling to leave the house. I would eat and eat mindlessly and unconsciously and not be able to stop myself until it was too late and the shame had already set in. So, why not just binge-watch Netflix and keep numbing out and not have to deal or feel?!
I knew that these toxic habits were holding me back from connecting to others, making healthy food choices, and using my time wisely – let alone reaching my potential. I didn’t feel good in my body and I didn’t know if I could stop what felt like an out-of-control lifestyle. I was losing trust in myself and feeling betrayed by my own mind and actions.
Something had to change.
My personal frustration with this cycle of trying and failing led me to a crossroads – either get control of myself or let my lifestyle run me into the ground! So, I started studying my relationship with decision making and discovered what was at the core of holding me back.
IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT
We are culturally trained to go big or go home, so we set massive unrealistic goals and fail at achieving them over and over and then wonder what’s wrong with us.
It is this all or nothing mentality that keeps you stuck in a failure loop and leaves you feeling defeated and depleted. Do you really think that someone who is struggling to get up off their couch is going to be able to immediately commit to going to the gym every day and succeed?
Real talk! No one teaches us about all of the mental preparation and tiny steps necessary to reach a big goal.
I am here to share with you that starting small is the gateway to big change.

Ultimately, I have a healthier relationship with food and my body. My morning meditation and breathwork routine keeps my mind clear and conscious and I love networking and going out to stay connected to others and engaged in the world.
