What is a sales funnel?
It is the process that you have in place that takes the prospect interested in working with you all the way to signing them as a client; in an authentic way of course. This is more about your business model than sales techniques, we can talk about that another time. I love talking sales! It’s important to map out the way a prospect can buy what you are selling– think through the process from the client point of view. Reverse engineer it.
Some questions to think about:
How are people finding out about you? Once they do, do you have a clear call to action so they know what to do? Dont make it hard for them. Keep it simple and clear. If they do what you ask of them, what happens next, and next, and next? Keep drilling down.
The prospective experience is part of building the trust and making them feel held in a process. Ride with them through the tunnel, enjoy the wind… And remember, it is always about giving value, value sells.
