patience

“There are times when the only thing to do is to wait. The seed has been planted, the child is growing in the womb, the oyster is coating the grain of sand and making it into a pearl.”

Ahhhh, patience. Not going to lie, being patient is challenging for me sometimes. The more I learn to trust the process, the easier ‘waiting’ transforms into just ‘being’.

‘Being patient’ is about trust. 

When I say seed, I am talking about an idea, a thought, a goal, a desire of what you want to change, create or grow.

Just like with a plant you need to water it and give it sunshine. I often say, where your energy goes your life flows. Imagine in this case, your energy is the water and sunshine for the seed. Your thoughts create things. But it is not only about thinking, you must take aligned action towards the goal.

And it is also about trusting that even though you don’t see the sprout above ground yet, that it is growing, that it is moving upwards to be realized. So many of us give up right before the seed breaks ground and we never get to pick the fruit. We wonder, “what did I do wrong?” Nothing. Have patience and trust.
