For anyone who follows me on social media, you might see me post the term “high frequency living”. I thought I would share my thoughts on it and open up a conversation to hear what high frequency living means to you.

Your thoughts are vibrating energy.

We experience these frequencies as emotions; when we are happy and in joy we are vibrating at a higher frequency, compared to when we are in sadness or depression.

Like attracts like.

Through my curiosity about how the mind works, I have learned we have the power to choose at any moment how we want to feel and there are activities that can support this shift in energy. We can participate in things that raise our frequency, which will bring more of those things into our lives – or we can engage in lower vibrating activities, which then will perpetuate that.

Where your energy goes, your life flows.

When I am hash-tagging #highfrequencyliving, I am recognizing that I am already living my desired lifestyle. For example, I would totally hashtag being out fine dining or visiting a high-end hotel for a drink with a friend. And, I would also consider the experience of taking the time to be in the sauna in the luxury of reconnecting with myself also #hfl.

You already are who you want to be.

To support you in raising your frequency, here are some of the ways I do it:
Daily spiritual practice, meditation, journaling, eating fresh fruits and vegetables, exercise, petting dogs, going out into nature, laughing, being in the creative flow, stimulating conversations, walking around 5th avenue, attending an event where powerful speakers are sharing their knowledge, eating out with friends in nice places, being in hotels where people are in movement and travel, taking a day off, self-care at the spa, getting manicures, etc…

Things that lower my frequency:
Disconnection from my daily spiritual practice, overeating dense heavy foods, sitting for too long, TV, unconscious conversation, hanging out with people drain my energy, allowing my boundaries to be violated, chaotic environments, stagnation of the mind and body, engaging in negative thinking, disconnection from nature, over-working, etc…

I would love to hear your thoughts, share them below…
